What is the Wootbox?

Every month, Wootbox sends you a surprise box which contains a selection of items that are 100% Geek and Gamer and correspond to a specific theme.

How much does it cost?

There are 4 subscriptions formulas which renew automatically:
Wootbox monthly subscription at £20.99. You sign up for as long as you want and get your Wootbox every month. The subscription renews every month by direct debit and you can cancel at any time.
Wootbox 3 months subscription at £60.87, (or £20.29 a month per Wootbox) saving you £2.10. You get 3 Wootboxes over the 3 months following your order. The subscription is automatically renewed by direct debit every three months and you can cancel at any time.
Wootbox 6 months subscription at £116.94, (or £19.99 a month per Wootbox) saving you £6. You get 6 Wootboxes over the 6 months following your order. The subscription is automatically renewed by direct debit every 6 months and you can cancel at any time.
Wootbox 12 months subscription at £218.88, (or £18.99 a month per Wootbox) saving you £24! You get 12 Wootboxes over the 12 months following your order. The subscription is automatically renewed by direct debit every 12 months and you can cancel at any time.

What will I get in my Wootbox?

The products that the jeuxvideo.com team selects for the Wootbox fit a theme indicated at the time of ordering. You're not told what's in the box because it's a surprise!

How do I sign up for just one Wootbox?

You just need to subscribe so your order is processed and then cancel your subscription before the next Wootbox direct debit is due (the 15th of the month for the Wootbox of the following month). That way, you just get the first Wootbox of your subscription and not the others.

Do I need to re-order every month to be sure to receive my Wootbox?

No way! That's the point of subscribing :) There's no need to re-order each time. Once you've signed up, your subscription is renewed monthly so you can be sure to get your Wootbox every month.

If I order a pack of 3 or 6 Wootboxes, will I get them automatically?

Yes. As you have paid your order in full, you will receive your Wootbox every month for 3 or 6 months. At the end of the 3 or 6 month period, the subscription will be automatically renewed with direct debit (on the 15th of the month following your last box). You can, of course, cancel your subscription at any time (before the payment date).

How do I cancel my Wootbox subscription?

You can cancel your Wootbox subscription at any time on www.wootbox.co. Go to My Account/My Subscriptions. To cancel the following month's delivery, you need to cancel the subscription before the 15th of the month (for example: payment is taken on the 15th of June for delivery of a box in July).

When does the sale of a Wootbox close?

The number of Wootboxes remaining for sale in the current month is shown by a percentage of stock still available so that you know exactly how many boxes are left for you to subscribe and receive the Wootbox of the current month.

When will my account be debited?

We take your payment when you place your order for your first Wootbox. As long as you don't cancel, your Wootbox subscription is automatically renewed every month. We therefore process your direct debit for the next Wootbox every month. The payment for the following month is taken on the 15th of the preceding month, as long as you are still signed up. For example, a direct debit is taken on the 15th of June for the July Wootbox, which will be delivered to you at the beginning of July. If this payment does not go through, it will be put at the top of   your account up until the end of the current month so you don't miss out on your next month's Wootbox :) !
Good news! As a subscriber, even if the theme for new subscribers has changed (meaning the box for next month is no longer for sale), you remain leading the way and you get next month's box !

I have bought my Wootbox. When will I get it?

So to enhance the element of surprise for all our subscribers, all Wootbox orders are sent out at the same time on the same day. They are dispatched between the 5th and 10th of each month.

How do I give a Wootbox subscription as a gift?

The best way is to order a 3, 6 or 12 months gift card specially designed for that purpose. Go to the page 'Give a Subscription as a Gift'.
If you want to just give one Wootbox, place an order for a monthly subscription. You simply need to give us a delivery address that is not the same as your billing address. Don't forget to cancel the subscription as soon as your order is confirmed.

How do I activate a Wootbox gift card?

It's simple. Register the code on the gift card to the Wootbox site, confirm your order (priced at £0 of course) and fill in your delivery address. And that's it, you're all set up to get your Wootbox!

Do I need to give the delivery address of the person I am buying a gift card for when I place my order?

No. The recipient of the gift card will tell us the delivery address when they activate the card on the Wootbox site.

What happens if the recipient loses their gift card?

No worries! When you place your order, the gift card is sent by email. It is also available for you to print out from your account. This contains the code that activates the Wootbox subscription.

How long is a gift card valid for?

All our gift cards are valid for up to 3 months from the date of purchase on the Wootbox site.

What payment methods do you accept?

At the moment we accept three types of bank card: VISA, MASTERCARD and CARTE BLEUE.

Are bank transactions secure?

Bank transactions are entirely secure and are handled by our partner Be2bill (part of the Rentabiliweb group) who are certified by the "Banque de France".

The Wootboxes have been sent out but I haven't received anything!

If you have provided us the correct address when you created your account, you should receive an email notifying you that your Wootbox has been sent (with parcel tracking if you chose colissimo or B2C, without tracking if you chose colieco). Your Wootbox is sent by la Poste as a colieco, a colissimo or B2C for Belgium (depending on what you chose when you placed your order). Delivery times for Colieco and B2C can vary (up to 10 working days). With Colissimo, you are given a tracking number when the parcel is dispatched and the delivery time is usually 3 to 4 days. If after 10 working days you still have not received anything, check that the postal address you have given us is correct (typing errors occur more often than you might think!) and check with your local post office in case the parcel is pending delivery. Can I have a Wootbox delivered abroad or overseas?

Currently, we deliver Wootbox to mainland France, Germany, England, Belgium, Spain and Monaco, Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Quebec, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia,Sweden & Switzerland

My Wootbox has arrived with damaged or missing items?

If a product is damaged, send a picture of it at info@wootbox.co.uk and we will find a solution together.
If you think something is missing, check with the contents list in the Wootbox to check if everything is there. If we have left something out when making up your Wootbox, we will be very surprised and apologise in advance. Send us an email at info@wootbox.co.uk and we will get back to you as soon possible.

How do I get the MEGA Wootbox?

You don't need to do anything! Every month, one of our current subscribers will be chosen to receive the MEGA Wootbox (more details are available in our General Conditions of Sale).

I never get emails or newsletters from Wootbox

First of all check that they haven't been delivered to your spam or junk folder. It is also possible that the email address you have given us is incorrect. To check it and update it, go to "My account/My details".
